Happy Holidays

The Holiday season is upon us, and our final working days of 2018 are quickly coming to a close. The Executive Board of Unifor Local 1959 would like to take this time to thank all of our members and The Windsor РEssex community for making this a Memorable year. We have some new challenges to face in the coming year with two of our units entering Negotiations ( Precision Plastics and Walker Aggregates ). We would like to wish you all a warm and Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year.

See you all in 2019,

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello everyone,

We have been a little bit absent on the site here recently, with everyone off on vacations through the summer and a lot of things going on at the local. We have something important to mention though. We will be having a movie day on Sunday October 21st. You should be seeing the sign up sheets in your facilities shortly. Make sure you sign up for a fun movie day. We will be showing Goosebumps 2 and First Man.

Secondly we wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Local Update

Howdy folks,

We have gotten a little lost of posting on the website lately, so we figured we are due for an update.

We are currently in the process of setting up another movie event for our members for later in the year, watch for more updates on this.

From the Executive Board we would like to encourage our members to get out and vote in the upcoming provincial election. We are not endorsing any candidates in particular, mainly we just want to get our members out and engaged in voting. For more information please visit

Further to this, please have a safe Victoria Day Long weekend.
